Why Am I A Photographer?

Hi, I'm Violet! I am a Photographer based out of Snohomish County, WA.  I have been taking photographs for almost my whole life. My father was a photographer for the newspaper where I grew up. He would take me on assignments starting at the age of 9. He would have me  assist him and he’d even hand me his second camera to take some photos. He taught me the basics and would have me go around taking photos of the city or even our backyard then come back tell a story of why I captured what I did. I still seem to be doing that to this day, just in a different way.

I am  helping people tell their own stories through my photography. Capturing all the moments that one holds dear. I started doing photography full time after my little one was born and realizing I want to capture every milestone they accomplish. I found so much joy doing this that I took the leap and started Violet Brier-Gohl Photography in 2022. I have had so many amazing clients and have captured some amazing shots! I can't wait to see what the future holds, hopefully its me with my camera still in my hand.
